British multi instrumentalist and composer who specialises on piano and is a key player in the groups Phronesis and Kairos 4tet.
Has released four albums under his own name including “Yatra” a superb set of compositions for octet released on Edition Records in September 2012 and the equally brilliant quintet recording “Strata” (Whirlwind Recordings, 2015).
"Neame's compositions are relentlessly inventive and his eventful and colourful arrangements a constant source of fascination to the listener."
"Colour, variety and musical depth allied so some brilliant playing. It's an album that deserves to establish Ivo Neame as a significant jazz force in his own right. "
"A radical departure for one of Britain’s most respected contemporary jazz musicians. Neame and his excellent quartet have created a recording that sounds thoroughly vital and contemporary."
