Joachim Kuhn / Majid Bekkas / Ramon Lopez / hr-Bigband
A special collaboration between the long running world jazz trio led by pianist Joachim Kuhn and featuring Majid Bekkas (oud, guembri, vocals) and Ramon Lopez (percussion) with the hr-Bigband for the 2009 Frankfurt and 2010 Berlin jazz festivals. A live album featuring specially written compositions was recorded at the Berlin performance and released in 2011 on ACT.
