ARTIST PROFILE

Mark Donlon

Mark Donlon was born in London, U.K. in 1960.

He studied at the Royal Academy of Music, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and London University. He has been pursuing an active career as a Jazz Pianist on the U.K. and international scene, giving live performances and broadcasts in many countries.

He is especially known on the Jazz scene for his involvement with Latin Jazz and Cuban music. He is currently Senior Lecturer in Jazz at Leeds College of Music in Yorkshire

He has composed a lot of music for solo piano, as well as orchestral pieces, works for Jazz orchestra, songs, and instrumental music.
