Michael Formanek
New York based double bassist and composer. Has worked with Tim Berne, Dave Douglas, Jim Black and many other leading figures on the New York “Downtown Scene” and also with British saxophonist Julian Arguelles. 2010 sees the release of his first solo album in 12 years “The Rub And Spare Change” recorded with an all star band and marking his debut for the ECM label.
