Steve Tromans /J J Wheeler
An unusual duo featuring Tromans on piano and Wheeler at the drums.The pair dig deep into the standards repertoire to create what almost amount to new compositions as they stretch the boundaries of form, harmony and rhythm. Their album “Blue Room” was released on Wheeler’s Mongrel record label in December 2011.
