Greek born guitarist and composer now based in Stockholm after more than a decade in London and best known for his work with drummer Asaf Sirkis’ trio. Spiliotopoulos has released three albums under his own name, “Wait For Dusk” (2006), “Archipelagos” (2010) and “In the North” (2016).
"“Archipelagos” unveils another excellent set of Spiliotopoulos compositions and the playing is of the high standard we have come to expect."
"Spiliotopoulos' most satisfying album to date. Its focus on strong melodic themes allied to some highly accomplished ensemble playing results in music that is rich in colour and invention."
"Quite simply this was one of the best gigs that I've ever seen at the Queens. Drawing on jazz, rock and folk influences the thing that united this music was the unfailing sense of melody. "
