I saw a wide variety of music today encompassing a broad spectrum from blues to neo- classical and all manner of jazz reference points in between.

The 2010 programming policy (by Sarah Dennehy and Elaine Madden) was more adventurous and eclectic and re-introduced some of the variety that Brecon Jazz has long been famous for.

Saxophonist Jacques Schwarz-Bart just released the album "Rise Above" on the Dreyfus Jazz label. He is also playing a series of gigs in New York City centred at the NuBlu Bar.
