An appeal from Wendy Kirkland of Chesterfield Jazz.

Friday, January 30, 2015

Wendy Kirkland and Pat Sprakes have been Dryathletes for the whole of January and are seeking sponsorship/donations in aid of Cancer Research. Full details attached.

Wendy Kirkland writes;

I hope you are well and keeping warm. We’re currently away from Chesterfield but have been hearing all the snow reports. Stay safe!

My email concerns something Pat and I have been doing throughout January. We have been Dryathletes, which means we have given up alcohol for a month, in aid of Cancer Research.

Last year we raised over £300 and although we’d hoped to break that record this year, the donations have not been as forthcoming, and we are currently just under the £200 mark. I know some of you have already donated, and we thank you for your generosity.

If you have not yet donated, would you mind? It’s been a long dry month!

Any amount is generous, just imagine you were buying us a drink!
Go here http://www.justgiving.com/wendy-sprakes-dryathlete2015 to donate online. All money goes straight to Cancer Research. You can also GiftAid it to donate your tax portion to the cause.

Many thanks in advance and we’ll look forward to seeing you all again soon.
