Made in the UK, the renowned concert showcase series that celebrates the UK’s vibrant jazz scene, returns for its twelfth year at the CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival (RIJF), one of America’s leading festivals. It remains one of the largest presentations of British Jazz outside the UK and several of the bands will also be performing on the Canadian festival circuit (details to follow).

Over 90 groups submitted applications to perform in the series and the final ten were chosen by John Nugent, Producer/Artistic Director, Rochester International Jazz Festival.

Cumulatively, these amazing artists from across the United Kingdom embody the soul and spirit of an enormous contribution made towards the progression of the American art form known as jazz.”  says Nugent,  “Once again, we are proud to welcome the world to Rochester and I can assure the UK artists travelling to western NY this year that our patrons hearts and ears eagerly await their performances in our annual “Made In the UK Series”.
