Belshazzar’s Feast ‘Two Wise Men’ Christmas Tour, November / December 2019.

Friday, November 29, 2019

The Two Wise Men Tour 2019.

So this is Christmas, and what have you done? Have you booked your tickets to ride to our annual winter wonderland? Or are you lonesome tonight, whilst everybody’s having fun?

Whether or not you’ve been good or bad, if you’ve got the fare and a trifle to spare, hurry down the chimney tonight,  join us for some seasonal mistletoe and whine, be merry and bright, the moon is right, the spirits up, we’re here tonight

And that’s enough.

In other news:

After 25 years on the road, May 2021 will see the last Belshazzar’s Feast tour - you’ve already had too much of a good thing! We’ve long outstayed our welcome in the travelodges, service stations and garden centres of the world, so it’s high time we headed for new pastures/ were put out to grass. Catch us while you can.

Paul H’s book of 18th Century English country dance tunes published by Faber Music in July now has an accompanying CD by The Maniacs. You can hear them at Chippenham and Frome Festivals next year. Pagoda Project is out and about again and will be recording their second album in January after the successful debut CD Clarion which received 5* reviews in Songlines and fRoots. They will be appearing at The Australia National Folk Festival in April. Paul’s new website is here:

Paul S has returned from tours with Jon Boden and the Remnant Kings, and Faustus , with whom he will tour Australia and New Zealand in January, including Cygnet, Illawarra and Auckland Folk Festivals. Work continues with the Andover Museum Loft Singers and Whitchurch Folk Club , for whom he will appear in an all-star ceilidh band on New Year’s Eve. Next year sees a return to the Travelling with Thomas project, and to Halsway Manor for a workshop weekend with Cigdem Aslan. More details at
