Gigs at Jazz at the Manor, Tamworth update.
I would just like to offer an update regarding gigs at ‘Jazz at the Manor, Tamworth’ over the next few months. They are as follows:
Monday 13th May: Alan Barnes (reeds) and David Newton (piano) - now celebrate 41 years of playing together!
Monday 10th June: Tom Hill Trio present a tribute to Wes Montgomery.
Tom Hill (aka Tam Clarke-Hill) on bass, Mitch Perrins on drums and Lee Jones on guitar.
Monday 8th July: Paul Sawtell Quintet present a tribute to George Shearing.
Paul on Vibes, Al Gurr on Keys, Trefor Owen on guitar, Bill Coleman on bass and Nick Millward on drums.
The location remains The Bolehall Manor Club, Amington Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 3LH, where there is plenty of free parking - and a licensed bar! Doors open at 7.20 for an 8.00pm start / 10.30pm finish.
£10 on the door - no booking necessary.
