We have received the following press release;
Lichfield Jazz launches it’s new Autumn jazz season at it’s new venue Cathedral Hotel, which was very popular at this years Blues and Jazz festival. It is located at 62 Beacon Street WS13 7AR
Opening up the season on Wednesday 19th September will be the Tobie Carpenter Organ Trio led by guitarist/composer Tobie with Jamie Safir on organ and David Ingamells drums all are outastanding young musicians who will play a mixture of their own compositions plus some standards.
Other groups lined up are;
Wednesday 17th October Alex Woods New York Quartet
Wednesday 21st November Nick Dewhurst Band
Wednesday 19th December Lichfield Jazz Big Band Xmas special
All gigs start at 8.00pm and entrance is £10 or £5 for students

Ian Mann enjoys the final day of the Festival and performances by Flying Machines, the Monty Alexander Trio and Bill Laurance and the WDR Big Band conducted by Bob Mintzer.
Ian Mann on a diverse day of musical performances including those of Ranjana Ghatak, Hilde Marie Holsen, Ivo Neame / Pete Wareham Duo, Trish Clowes' My Iris and the Avishai Cohen Trio.
