The Artistic Director of Jazz Juniors
We are glad to announce that the Artistic Director of Jazz Juniors will for the second time in a row become Pawel Kaczmarczyk. After the success of the previous edition our Krakow pianist has a head full of new ideas and the preparations to this year’s Jazz Juniors has started in full flow.

Pawel the Globtrotter: Norway, India, Russia!
March will be full of the foreign concerts! Only on 7th of March Pawel will appear in the Norwegian city Hønefoss, where he will play the concert with the Loud Jazz Band. That Polish-Norwegian band was formed in 1989 by the guitarist Miroslaw „Carlos” Kaczmarczyk. The group – as the first and only one Polish band – released their CD in the Mercury Records record label.
Only in the following week Pawel Kaczmarczyk with the band New Bone will play two concerts in India! Between the 15th and the 18th of March the band will play in Nehru Park in Delhi and in Jammu (Kashmir). The quintet was invited by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations – the governal institution, promoting the Indian culture around the world and introducing the cultures of another countries to the people living in India, and by the Polish Institute in New Delhi.The artists will by funded by the Institute of Adam Mickiewicz as a part of the programme „Polish Culture Around the World”.The Delhi International Jazz Festival is the biggest jazz event in India, arm-in-arm with the Delhi Jazz Utsav Festival.
As for the end of March trips, Pawel will play in Russia for the second time this year. That time, together with Rafal Sarnecki Quartet, he will play two concerts: on the 20th of March during the Guitar World International Music Festival in Kaługa and on the 21st of March in Moskow.

Ray Charles in Wadowice!
The project Pawel Kaczmarczyk/Jorgos Skolias Directions in Music: Ray Charles is coming back to Lesser Poland! Only on the 23rd of March in Młyn Jacka Hotel&SPA in Wadowice we will have a chance to hear the most beautiful songs from the legends of soul repertoire in the arrangements prepared by Pawel Kaczmarczyk.The concert will begin at 8pm. The tickets are: 40 zlotys on presale and 50 zlotys on the day of the concert. In case if you would like to stay in that beautiful Hotel, you can get the ticket in the price of the accommodation.

Tales… will sound in Rzeszow!
For all the fans of Kaczmarczyk&Skolias from Podkarpacie we have a great news! Only on the 10th of March the duet will perform in Osiedlowy Dom Kultury in Rzeszow, at Kochanowskiego Street 29. The concert wil begin at 7pm. The tickets (25 zlotys) are to be bought in pizzeria „Pod Lipa” and in the cinema „Zorza”.

Directions in Music Nights for the 16th anniversary of Harris Piano Jazz Bar
For 16 years already the jazz notes sound in Harris Piano Jazz Bar in Krakow. Because of that, for April Pawel has prepared the special serie named Directions in Music Nights. We invite you for four concerts from Directions in Music serie, presenting the compositions of the most outstanding personalities of the world jazz, who inspired many generations of musicians and listeners.
This time we will hear the music of Elvin Jones (the special guest: Kazimierz Jonkisz), Ray Charles (the special guest: Jorgos Skolias), Stan Getz (the special guest: Janusz Muniak) and the Headhunters. The tickets for each concert (on presale: 25 zlotys, on the day of the concert: 25 zlotys for students and 35 zlotys regular) are to be bought in Harris Piano Jazz Bar and at InfoKrakow spots (Jana Street 2 and at Pawilon Wyspianskiego). There is also a chance of getting the pass for all the four concerts in the prive of 80 zlotys.

The news on Pawel Kaczmarczyk YouTube channel!
On 12th of October 2012 Pawel Kaczmarczyk Audiofeeling Band, as the only representative of Poland, played an outstanding concert during the European Jazz Nights in Oslo. The special guest of the concert was Grzech Piotrowski. The performance of Pawel’s group was hailed to be the most important event of the previous year’s jazz nights in Oslo. The concert was opened with „Catch More Chicks” with the great solo shows of the leader of the band and Grzech Piotrowski. That composition you can see on Pawel’s YouTube channel. The clip was prepared by Szymon Kamykowski. More fragments of the concert will be placed on YouTube channel during the following weeks.

The concerts in Moskow for birthday!
On the 8th of February, the day of Pawel’s birthday, the New Bone band played a successful concert during the Multinational Festival of Polish Stars of The World Jazz in Moskow. The Festival is the first big event devoted to polish jazz music since the times of Soviet Union. The initiators and the organizers of the festival are Anatolij Kroll and the Polish Institute in Moskow. It was the first (but we are sure that not the last one) concert in Russia!

Pawel on the tour with Rafal Sarnecki
Rafal Sarnecki, the great guitarist who lives permanently in New York, played with Pawel Kaczmarczyk at the turn of January and February. They played four concerts in Rabka, Warsaw, Krakow and Nowy Targ. In the quartet of Rafal and his musicians played the Israeli bassist Avri Borochov. The tour was promoting the material from the last CD of Rafal „The Madman Rambles Again”. The album was released in 2011 by prestigious record label Fresh Sound New Talent, which is known because of the famous musicians like Brad Mehldau or Kurt Rosenwinkel who were recording there. Pawel Kaczmarczyk also took part in creating the CD.
