Funkyfeet Events & Artis Blackheath presents an evening of live music with The ACY Organ Trio

Andrew Christopher Young is an extremely gifted and talented Musician known for his expertise on keys who will be bringing his ACY Trio to Artis Blackheath courtesy of Funkyfeet Events.

Composer, Director, Keyboardist, Organist, Pianist and Performer fuses Jazz, Classical, Gospel, Funk, Reggae, Neo Soul, Blues, Latin, R&B and a wide genre of other musical styles and expressions.
Andrew started playing in churches at a very young age throughout Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Vincent and went on to study music that led him to UK and London’s Royal School of Music.
He now presents his trio of big guns in the music industry to this opening, post UK lockdown show. What better way to reintroduce live music to real live audiences at Artis Blackheath.

The ACY Trio are:
Andrew Young – Organ
David Chamberlain – Guitar
Eric Ford – Drums

The music scene in the UK has presented growing pains and opportunities for Andrew to further expand his musical experience and genre. He has worked alongside a few African based artists and has added to his fusion a mix of afro beats and other African genres. Andrew continues to perform in London churches and has accompanied other artists such as Pk Boadie, Atta Boafo, Aaron T Aaron and appeared at the Jazz Café with international performing artist Kunle Ayo. Andrew accompanied Ben Audu and has been featured at Vortex Jazz Club and at the African Jazz Festival.
Andrew has also worked alongside the legendary Gary Crosby in conjunction with the new jazz boiler house that is Tomorrow Warriors accompanying the Gary Crosby Trio, Myrna Hague, Ciyo Brown and the Vince Dunn Orchestra.
