Ben Eshmade of Arctic Circle writes;

Our ACE new Autumn season is here!

Who knew thirteen or so years ago we’d still be here creating a space for artists and audiences to get to know each other over mesmerising music, brewtastic tea and some beautifully baked cake.

Firstly we are very excited to let you know we have received another Arts Council National Lottery Project Grant to help us deliver the series from now till July 2023. We’re humbled and grateful to the Arts Council for this level of support.

Secondly consider this your personal invitation to eight more musical adventures this Autumn. The story so far: we’ve been visited by our friends from overseas, Orindal records and later this month we have our sixth event with the Orchestra of the Age of Englightenment Experience Ensemble in one of three new venues we plan to visit this year in London and beyond.

In October we’re working with new inspring collaborators Queer Folk who will present three voices of LGBTQIA+ performers, as part of their endeavour to encourage the building of an LGBTQIA+ community within the folk, roots and traditional music scenes.

We present three weeks of music in November inside and outside of the EFG London Jazz Festival with improvisations inspired by hundreds of years of history from Hildegard von Bingen to the latest graduates from the Goldsmith Music department.

In December we enter the soul of house, a curation and collaboration of musicians who live together and then it’s Christmas once again with Lost Map and that is always very special. Where does the time go?

Support us - as part of the awarded grant we have promised to raise money from the events themselves and beyond. So our crowdfunder (currently at 32%) is an important part of our survival as a series (thank you to all who have contributed so far), alongside income from the events door, cafe and the merchandise table.

Finally do find and follow us on social media on facebook, twitter or instagram. We look forward to catching up with you this Autumn…
