Matt Ridley - The Antidote Autumn Tour 2022.

Sunday, September 18, 2022

Bassist and composer Matt Ridley will lead his quintet The Antidote on a short series of UK live dates during October and November 2022.

Matt Ridley writes;

The Antidote Autumn Tour 2022.

The Antidote’ is coming to a town near you!

Especially if you live near Birmingham, the Midlands, or the South Coast

2022 has been a fruitful year so far, with exceptionally well-received gigs at Ronnie Scott’s, Cheltenham, Shrewsbury, Cambridge and Walton-on-Thames.

Not only that, the album was nominated in the ‘Best Jazz Album of 2021’ category of the Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2022. I was truly honoured by this unexpected accolade!

I’m now extremely pleased to announce the dates for our Autumn tour, which culminates in an appearance at the EFG London Jazz Festival.

I’ve spent the Summer brainstorming ideas for new tunes, so I’m looking forward to airing some of them over the next few gigs. I’m excited for the whole tour, but especially the London Jazz Festival date, which will be professionally recorded. Who knows, maybe some of it will make it’s way into the public domain soon!
Please note that this is an afternoon concert, music starts at 1PM.

See you here, there, and everywhere!!
