ARTIST PROFILE
Adam Fairhall
Manchester based pianist and composer who has worked as a sideman in the bands of trumpeter Matthew Halsall and saxophonist Nat Birchall. Also leads his own trio with bassist Tim Fairhall and drummer Gaz Hughes and a duo with electronics artist Paul J Rogers.
A larger ensemble performed Fairhall’s specially commissioned suite “The Imaginary Delta” at the 2011 Manchester Jazz Festival with the results documented on the live album “The Imaginary Delta” (Slam Records 2012).
