ARTIST PROFILE
Derek Nash
Nash is proficient on soprano, alto, tenor and baritons saxophones and leads the groups Sax Appeal and Protect The Beat as well as a more straight ahead acoustic jazz quartet. He runs his own Clown’s Pocket recording studio and is a respected engineer and producer. With singer Trudy Kerr he is joint proprietor of the Jazzizit record label. He also finds time to tour extensively with Jools Hollands’ Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
