Nod Knowles of All Of The Above, organisers of the Bath Jazz Weekend has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help and support the future of All Of The Above gigs and the annual Bath Jazz Weekend.

Dear Music Lover
This is an open letter in advance of the launch of the (9-11 January 2026) Bath Jazz Weekend programme, which will be unveiled and open for ticket sales in all its musical glory in early November.
I wanted to let you know that as a precursor to the Jazz Weekend launch I have set up a 14 day flash fundraising project for AOTA and Bath Jazz Weekend. Lots of lovely jazz rewards are available for anyone who’d like to take a chance this autumn and help support these musical projects.

All Of The Above & Bath Jazz Weekend
About the project owner
Aim: This is a flash 14 day fundraiser - to help and support the future of All Of The Above gigs and the annual Bath Jazz Weekend.
All Of The Above gigs and the annual Bath Jazz Weekend are both not-for-profit projects administered by Nod Knowles and a production crew of local experts.
The annual Bath Jazz Weekend in early January is a unique cooperative 3 day festival venture in which ALL participants - musicians and production crew members - take an equal share of the nett income (after inevitable, essential costs such as publicity and travel are met) for days worked. There is no other cooperative festival like it in the UK - nor as far as we know, elsewhere in Europe.
All Of The Above (AOTA) jazz and folk music gigs are run on an entirely break-even basis, paying guaranteed fees to artists and production crew from all retained income. Costs of production are increasing like all other costs today - and the risk is that meeting un-negotiable operational costs could diminish fees payable to artists and production crew or put the AOTA project into personal deficit.
This fundraiser is asking for help to provide a modest amount of financial capital to support Bath Jazz Weekend and All Of The Above gigs in the coming year. The funds raised will be held in the AOTA account to provide some upfront income and a buffer against financial risk in all Bath Jazz Weekend and AOTA gigs and to help to ensure that artists and production crew get paid decently for their work.
AOTA will report to Crowdfunder donors on the progress of the fundraising and the plans for 2026.
Details of the programme and ticket prices for the Bath Jazz Weekend 2026 (9-11 January) and the first AOTA gig of 2026 (28 February) will be launched publicly in early November 2025 - two weeks from the start of this Crowdfunder.
Meanwhile - this two week flash fundraiser also makes tickets available for both in advance - for anyone in our audience who is prepared to take a chance and buy tickets ‘sight unseen’. We are confident that your trust in our ability to produce musically excellent events of an international standard will not be misplaced.
