Birmingham Jazz are celebrating Black History Month with a series of ten performances at the 1000 Trades venue over two weekends that reflect the theme of “Standing Firm in Power and Pride”.

Birmingham Jazz are celebrating Black History Month with a series of ten performances over two weekends that reflect the theme of “Standing Firm in Power and Pride”.
The series, held at 1000 Trades in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, starts on Friday with Romarna Campbell’s CHAOS Trio at 5pm. The full program for this weekend and next has some incredible musicians lined up, including Jazz Warriors alumni Cleveland Watkiss, Jason Yarde, Dennis Rollins, Byron Wallen and Tony Kofi.
