I’ve got more live music news to tell you about…so here goes…

Saturday 12th July, 4pm, Party at the Jazz Club live at Fuse Festival, Beacon Park, Lichfield.
Party at the Jazz Club?? What’s that I hear you say!? Well - it’s a little bit of rebranding in fact! Really it’s the ND Band in disguise…except we’re doing our really funky jazz-pop cover tunes which should be great fun at this fantastic free-entry family friendly festival.  I’m going to be joined by some great musicians including Beth Fisher-Dewhurst on Alto Sax & Vocals, Chris Bowden on Tenor Sax, Sam Craig on Piano & Vocals, Paul Robinson on Bass Guitar, and Tash Buxton on Drums.  Tickets are FREE but please head to the Lichfield Arts website to register for them, and to find out more information about the rest of the festival.

Sunday 14th December, 7pm, Seasonal Swing with the Nick Dewhurst Band
Hot off the press & just released in their new brochure: I’m delighted to be taking my 6-piece ND Band to the Hub at St Mary’s where we’ll be playing our Christmas show ‘Seasonal Swing’ featuring Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Deck the Halls, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree –  all delivered in a vibrant mix of jazz, blues, New Orleans grooves, and rock’n’roll flair.  For tickets and more information, please head to the Hub at St Mary’s Website

Friday 19th December, 7pm, the Lichfield Jazz Big Band Christmas Special
It’s bonkers to be thinking about this in this 20-something degree heat…but…this gig is always such a classic night out, and this year we’ve moved it even closer to Christmas! Come & hear the wonderful Lichfield Jazz Big Band live in the stunning setting which is St Anne’s Church in Burntwood.  Just a reminder, there are early bird tickets on sale for this one (currently priced at £13) until July 23rd, after which they’ll go up to £15.  Tickets are available from my website for this one - please head to the box office page here;

There are some additional dates on my website too, which I’ll email you about in due course, but if you want to make a note of them, please head to Upcoming Gigs to find out more!

That’s all for now, hopefully see some of you at the Fuse Festival in just over a week’s time!

All the very best,
Nick.
