University of Derby presents the award of Honorary Master of the University to Geoff Wright of Derby Jazz. Statement attached.

University of Derby presents the award of Honorary Master of the University to Geoff Wright of Derby Jazz.

The award, one of five conferred this year, recognises “the exceptional contribution Geoff has made to the cultural life of Derby, his significant achievements in establishing a lasting jazz scene in the City and his tireless commitment to creating opportunities for budding and established musicians from the City.”
