Tiggy Blackwell Quintet @The Swigg
A fantastic group of young musicians based in Cardiff.
Led by Tiggy, a jazz trombonist and recent graduate of the RWCMD
They explore some of the work of the finest jazz trombonists such as Curtis Fuller, Kai Winding and J.J. Johnson, alongside the band’s favourite tunes. The band features several excellent players from the Cardiff scene, all of whom featured in the Swansea International Jazz Festival with bands such as Calathea, Evan Extence Quartet, Charlie Herbert Organ Trio and the Power of Gower Big Band.
This night is sure to be an unforgettable night of Jazz in the Swigg!
