Buxton International Festival (9-26 July 2026) has announced that its 2026 ‘Jazz Weekender’ ticket (9-12 July) will go on sale on Monday, 15 December 2025 at 10am. Performers include Laura Jurd,.

BUXTON INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL’S 2026 ‘JAZZ WEEKENDER’ TICKET GOES ON SALE ON MONDAY 15 DECEMBER

Buxton International Festival (9-26 July 2026) is delighted to announce that its 2026 ‘Jazz Weekender’ ticket (9-12 July) will go on sale on Monday, 15 December at
10am.

The 2026 Jazz Weekender, featuring artists including Laura Jurd, Tony Kofi & Denys Baptiste, Arun Gosh and the Andrew McCormack Trio, offers audiences the chance to immerse themselves in an entire weekend of live music in Buxton. The £195 ticket provides access to 12 gigs across the festival’s opening weekend (9-12 July inclusive), 11 of them in the festival’s dedicated jazz venue, The Palace Hotel, and one gig in Buxton Opera House. Day passes are also available from £30.

The festival’s new Jazz Director, Wesley Stephenson, commented:
“Jazz Weekender is all about bringing people right up close to the music. Twelve gigs across one weekend, intimate spaces and some of the UK’s most exciting musicians
coming together. It’s a brilliant way to discover new sounds, revisit the classics and feel the real energy of live jazz.”

The Jazz Weekender boasts an impressive line-up of artists who boast Mercury, MOBO, BBC and British Jazz awards between them including:
Laura Jurd (Rites and Revelations)
Tony Kofi and Denys Baptiste Quintet (Legacy: Coltrane and Cannonball)
Arun Ghosh Quintet
Andrew McCormack Trio
Zoë Gilby with Andy Champion (The Music of Duke Ellington)
Josephine Davies Satori Quartet with special guest Alcyona Mick
Noa Levy, Alan Barnes and the Paul Edis Trio (Portrait in Evans)
Alina Bzhezhinska HipHarpCollective
Fraser Fifield Secret Path Trio
