Doreen Foster, Director of Warwick Arts Centre, says: ‘From The Source celebrates jazz as an inspirational art form. This year’s lineup features artists who grew up listening to the likes of John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Jackie McLean and Ahmad Jamal, and used these early experiences to forge very different musical paths. Although each artist has their own unique sound and perspective, the echoes of jazz shine through. We can’t wait to bring artists and audiences together this October to share the many music styles and influences which inspire us all’
