Rob Fowler is one of British jazz’s finest tenor-saxophonists, celebrated for his warm, broad tone and swinging style, securely rooted in the classic traditions of Coleman Hawkins and Lester Young. His career includes performing and recording with Rufus Wainwright, Bryan Ferry, Humphrey Lyttelton, the BBC Big Band and the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. Supported by one of the UK’s most versatile and inventive pianists Robin Aspland, whose career includes six years as Musical Director for Van Morrison, and Marianne Windham on bass.

After four years at Berklee College of Music, Greg Abate spent two years playing lead alto for the Ray Charles Orchestra and then occupying the tenor sax chair with the revived Artie Shaw Orchestra. This talented and versatile musician now tours widely as a post hard-bop soloist playing Jazz Festivals and Clubs throughout the U.S. Canada and Europe, including the UK and Russia. Greg is supported by Alex Hutton on piano, Marianne Windham on bass and Alfonso Vitale on drums.

Andy Sheppard is one of the world’s leading saxophonists, playing and writing for settings from solo to chamber orchestra including recording an internationally acclaimed trilogy of albums in a trio with Carla Bley and Steve Swallow. Andy’s latest Trio consists of Italian jazz icon Rita Marcotulli on piano and acclaimed French bassist Michel Benita. Saltcatchers, the trio’s latest album, was released in September 2026 and described by jazz reviewers as full of captivating melodic beauty, delicate harmony and thoughtful interplay.
