Harborough Jazz Club has announced its programme for Spring 2026. Events take place on Sunday lunchtimes at The Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Who Are We?
Harborough Jazz Club focuses on promoting modern and mainstream forms of Jazz. We stage a monthly Sunday gig and a local jam session. We have an excellent reputation for providing jazz sessions from national and international names. Join as a club member and enjoy special rates and booking privileges. 


Where to Find Us
We look forward to seeing you at our lunchtime sessions on the second Sunday in every month at The Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough, UK to enjoy a friendly relaxed atmosphere, good food and the best in modern jazz. Finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2020, Alex is known to be one of the most in-demand and versatile saxophonists to have emerged on the British jazz scene. Her total respect for the heritage of the music can be heard in a fiery, melodic approach inspired by the likes of Phil Woods, Cannonball Adderley and Vincent Herring. As a bandleader, Alex’s quartet features some of the UK’s finest musicians: David Newton, Dave Green and Steve Brown.

Chris Coull

Chris has based himself in Brighton where his playful be-bop style has been in evidence in the clubs and festivals around the area. Chris has played with and led many collaborations including Alan Barnes, David Newton, Andy Panayi, and Toni Kofi.  Chris has appeared at many festivals and jazz clubs including, Appleby Jazz festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, Love Supreme, Leeds Jazz Festival, and Band On The Wall.

The Dean Stockdale Quartet

Dean Stockdale is a highly regarded jazz pianist, arranger and composer known for his sensitive, swinging style, and regularly appears around the UK with his trio and with some of the best names in UK jazz. His biggest influences in jazz are the piano styles of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Gene Harris, Mulgrew Miller and Erroll Garner. He enjoys the tradition of mainstream jazz with a passion for the American Songbook. Also featured will be Tim Williams guitar, Gavin Barras bass and Gaz Hughes drums.

Pete Oxley: Time is of the Essence
Inspired by the stunning 1999 album by Michael Brecker, Time is of the Essence is an ‘organ quartet’: sax, guitar, organ and drums.  Formed in 2010, the band features original music along with pieces by the likes of Michael Brecker, Steely Dan, Wes Montgomery and Eddie Harris, falling very much into the ‘groove’ category of jazz!
