Whether you’re planning a cosy mid-week outing or a weekend live music night, here’s a snapshot of some of the fantastic artists we have coming up this month…

This Thursday (5th Feb) experience the evocative storytelling and warm acoustic tones of Baltimore’s LETITIA VAN SANDT and DAVID McKINDLEY-WARD, whose melodic folk-roots and stunning vocals promises to enchant audiences - likened to Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings this duo is pretty special! Also this week, highly acclaimed singer-songwriter JOSIENNE CLARKE (Sun 8th + Mon 9th Feb), returns for 3 shows, showcasing her deeply personal lyrics, exquisite guitar work and unmistakable voice that has drawn comparisons to some of the UK’s most respected folk voices. We’re also excited to welcome back the unique sounds of Icelandic troubadour SVAVAR KNÚTUR (Tue 10th Feb), whose atmospheric, introspective songs and dry humour make for a compelling live experience.

Multiple Grammy-nominated songster DANIEL KIMBRO is back this month (Wed 11th Feb) - a master of roots, blues and Americana, his performances are steeped in tradition, soul and superb musicianship. We’re also looking forward to the return of captivating songstress MELISSA JAMES (Fri 13th Feb), delivering powerful vocals, heartfelt songwriting and a live presence that bridges soul, blues and jazz in a fresh and memorable way. Lovers of Kate Bush, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell and Esperanza Spalding won’t want to miss the return of MATSHIDISO (Wed 18th Feb)  a rising voice whose intimate storytelling and layered vocal work promise a truly special evening.

On Friday 20th Feb, we’re thrilled to welcome THE GREAT MALARKEY to our home from home at Water Rats - a raucous, electric eight-piece collective blending folk, punk, gypsy-jazz and high-energy performance, their explosive live shows and eclectic sound make them one not to miss!
