As part of a tour showcasing her debut album ‘Home/Lands’ Alicia Gardner-Trejo (baritone sax, flute, bass flute) brings her exciting quartet to SJN at the Hive. Featuring the individual voices of Andrew Woodhead (piano), Brodie Laird-Jarvie (double bass) and Jonathan Silk (drums) their music plays with the sonic possibilities of low woodwinds & double bass, experimenting with fresh ideas of melody & bassline responsibilities. With strong influences from the world of jazz and folk, ‘Home/Lands’
features intricately crafted melodies and strong improvisations.
