Derby Jazz Presents The Exciting New Gary Reader’s Mojafan Album Launch of “Mae Be For Ever” with a special live concert at Chapel Street Arts Centre on Friday 28th August from 8pm.

Gary Reader has been a constant creative force on the East Midlands music scene, culminating in his most exciting work, “Mae Be For Ever,” which will be premiered at Chapel Street Arts Centre Derby on Friday 28th August, 8pm.

The new album is a heavy mix of Jungle/drum & bass influences while still deeply rooted in the music of Pharoah Sanders, Albert Ayler, Archie Shepp, and both Alice & John Coltrane… a true spiritual journey.
