THE PEOPLE’S BIG BAND
The People’s Big Band is part of an award-winning music charity, The People’s Orchestra. Established in 2022, this band is for anyone who enjoys postmodern jukebox music.
The People’s Big Band is all about reimagining the music everyone knows and loves - pop hits, rock classics, and much more - through the dynamic energy of a live jazz ensemble. Their 20-piece band fuses swing, blues, funk, and rhythm and blues into unique arrangements of iconic tracks like Africa by Toto, Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes, and Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen. The People’s Big Bands breathes new life into nostalgia, creating performances that are fresh, exciting, and full of personality.
