Hejira the seven piece band that celebrates the music of Joni Mitchell's 'jazz period' and in particular the live album 'Shadows and Light' will be touring again in Spring and in Autumn 2026.

Hejira the seven piece band that celebrates the music of Joni Mitchell’s ‘jazz period’ and in particular the live album ‘Shadows and Light’ will be touring again in Spring and in Autumn this year.
In between on 10th July they have been invited to play at the Syracuse Jazz Festival, New York.
The band now has a pool of three singer/guitarists with Jana Varga or Immy Churchill fronting the band on occasion as well as Hattie Whitehead who has been fronting Hejira since it started as an unnamed band playing what was expected to be a one-off gig at The Spin, Oxford in December 2022 . The band’s gig at The Spin on 30th April this year already has sold out.
