Bletchey Park Post Office.
Originally the butler’s quarters in 1990 the small annex to the side of Bletchley Park mansion became an undercover mailroom during World War 2. The then GPO opened it as a sub post office in 1947. When Bletchley Park first opened to the public in 1994 it was used as a gift shop. It is now a re-creation of a wartime post office and issues philatelic collectibles to help raise funds for Bletchley Park and other charities. These can become worth several times the original issue price.
