Searching for Eddie Matthews - an appeal from Tom Rabone.

US resident Tom Rabone is trying to contact his former school teacher Eddie Matthews who taught Tom in Birmingham in the 1960's.Tom believes that Eddie may still be playing jazz in the West Midlands.

Here is the text of Tom’s appeal as emailed to The Jazzmann;

Hello, My name is Tom Rabone. Back in 1964 and 1965 Eddie Matthews was my history teacher at Cherrywood Road School in Birmingham. I just heard from an old classmate that Eddie Matthews was still playing jazz in the West Midlands. I live in Florida, USA and I would like to get in touch with Mr. Matthews - I think that I might have the right contact with your web page.
