The line-up has been announced for the Wall2Wall Jazz Festival, hosted by Black Mountain Jazz, which will take place at various locations in Abergavenny over the weekend of 25th -27th September 2026.

BMJ is delighted to host Roger Beaujolais’ Spin Quartet on our opening night of thewall2wall Jazz Festival!
Roger is a player that one could look to in defining the word ‘virtuosic’; his ability is ferocious - but this doesn’t at all mean that he can’t also coax beautiful harmonies and sweet melodies from the instrument!
He is one of only a few vibes players that has really mastered the art of playing with four mallets. Roger’s ability on the vibraphone, coupled with his consummate musicianship has led him to an international career which has been (and continues to be) both varied and prolific in its output.
His own projects have ranged from Acid Jazz to straight-ahead, and he has been hired toper form or record with such diverse A-listers as Robert Plant, Morrissey, Kirsty MacColl and Snowboy. In the jazz field, Roger has worked with almost everybody at the top of the UK jazz scene and currently leads a top-notch trio based in Italy.
This particular line up was born earlier this year, at a sold out show at The Spin Jazz Club in Oxford, Joining Roger for this performance will be Pete Oxley on Guitar (Hejira, Oxley Meier Guitar Project), Andy Hamill on Bass (Laura Mvula, Van Morrison), and Alex Goodyear on drums (Yetii, Jon Lloyd, John Law).

Multi award winner Olivia Cuttill comes to you with her all-star band playing Oscar Peterson’s Legendary album ‘Oscar Peterson Trio Plus One’.
Olivia Cuttill - winner of APPAG Martin Hummel Award , APPG Best Newcomer Nominee, Presto Music’s Newcomer of The Year, Peter Whitingham 2024 Award Winner, Take Fiver2026 - is a London based jazz trumpet player and composer.
As a third generation musician, jazz and blues are deeply rooted in Olivia Cuttill’s heritage. She is heavily influenced by the sounds of New Orleans and inspired by Louis Armstrong and Dr John, as well as the story-telling of Nina Simone and Randy Newman. Her approach to composition, story-telling and improvisation seamlessly bleed into one, gleaming with conviction, character and captivation.
Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2023, Olivia Cuttill has released two albums -her latest was ‘The Whole Damn Plan’ in 2024. She has toured the UK and Europe, playing esteemed venues such as Ronnie Scotts, Howard Assembly Room, South Bank Centre and Duc Des Lombards.
Jazzwise describes Olivia as ‘one of the best new trumpeters to emerge on the British jazz scene over the past decade’.
Olivia will be sharing the stage with Sam Davies on piano, Lorenzo Morabito on bass and Miles Pillinger on drums.

Alongside songs from their much-loved 2020 album ‘Weathering The Storm’, the duo will perform stripped-back interpretations from across their wider catalogues - as well as new material currently being written and recorded for their forthcoming album ‘Lighthouses’, planned for release in 2027.
Weathering The Storm was met with rapturous reviews on release. The Guardian awarded the album four stars, calling it “a gem… simple, modest and perfect,” while Iggy Pop described it as “unimaginably good” on his BBC Radio 6 Music show.
At the heart of this partnership is a shared commitment to understatement, space and emotional truth. Voice and guitar are given room to breathe, allowing the songs to unfold with clarity and intimacy - qualities that have come to define their work together.
Jo Harrop is an award-winning singer, songwriter and recording artist whose work effortlessly blurs the lines between jazz, blues and soul, with subtle influences of Americana, folk and Latin music.
Her discography includes ‘When Winter Turns To Spring’, won Album of the Year at the2023 Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Frequently praised for her warm, smoky tone and emotional honesty, she has been nominated twice for Vocalist of the Year.
Jo Harrop was chosen to support Gregory Porter on his 13-date UK tour in 2025, including four nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall. She has performed at many of the world’s most respected venues and festivals, including Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club and PizzaExpress Live. Jamie McCredie is one of the UK’s finest solo guitarists and busiest session musicians.
After winning BBC Radio Guitarist of the Year at the age of 19, he established himself as a distinctive voice on the instrument, blending fiery blues-inflected jazz with deep classical knowledge and exceptional technical facility.
He has appeared on some of the world’s largest stages - including Glastonbury, Coachella, Montreux and the North Sea Jazz Festival - as well as at intimate venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and Cadogan Hall.
He has toured and recorded extensively around the world, working with a diverse range of artists including James Morrison, Roísin Murphy, Emeli Sandé, Will Young, Joss Stone, Beverly Knight, Kid Creole, Tokio Myers, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Robbie Williams, K.T. Tunstall, Steps, and on numerous film, television and radio sessions.
As a producer and engineer, Jamie McCredie recorded, mixed and performed on ‘Weathering The Storm’, for which he received numerous Record of the Week accolades. In 2023, he won a Parliamentary Jazz Award as producer for ‘When Winter Turns To Spring’.
