Zoo announce gig dates and recording news

Midlands based band Zoo have sent news of some upcoming performances including a first date in London. They are also due to start work on their next album.

ZOO at ESCUCHA, NOTTINGHAM - PART OF THE 2009 HOCKLEY HUSTLE
Sunday Oct 25th, 9:45 - 10.30pm, Escucha, Fletcher Gate, Nottingham
ZOO return to Escucha for this years Hockley Hustle.
ZOO are one of 9 bands and a DJ performing at this year’s Hockley Hustle Escucha event, which will be bigger and better than ever,
featuring over 20 venues hosted by the most respected, forward thinking and exciting promoters and creative groups in the region
- overall featuring 200 artists. You pay no more than £10 for access to all of these venues from midday on Sunday through to the
early hours of Monday morning and ALL of that money goes to Oxfam and local NSPCC projects.
The day kicks off at 14:45, and ZOO are on at 21:45. Things draw to a close with a Jam / DJ set around 00:30.

ZOO head to London for the first of two dates in the capital, starting at

ZOO RECORDING SESSIONS
At the end of November, ZOO return to the studio to begin recording the new album,
the follow up to the acclaimed ‘End of the telegraph wires’, featuring much of what has
been developed and performed live over the last year or so. Plans are for a spring/early
summer release - watch out for ‘album diary’ updates, pics and clips as things develop.
