Chris Bowden is an acclaimed British alto saxophonist, composer, and arranger best known for his cinematic, sprawling approach to jazz. Emerging prominently during the UK’s acid jazz and jazz-breakbeat renaissance of the 1990s, he broke traditional genre boundaries by fusing complex, orchestration-heavy jazz with contemporary club, hip-hop, and drum-and-bass sounds.
Dave Sear is an acclaimed British jazz trombonist, composer, and educator based in Birmingham, UK. He is widely recognised for his contributions to the contemporary UK jazz scene, blending traditional hard bop with a modern sensibility.
