EFG London Jazz Festival today shares more new additions to its 2026 programme, including new shows, special guests and collaborations from across the UK and beyond. Returning from 13–22 November, the Festival continues to bring together world-renowned artists like Goldie, Melody Gardot, Fatoumata Diawara, Mariza and Brandford Marsalis & Dianne Reeves, emerging talent and ambitious new projects across venues throughout the capital.

Turkish Airlines returns as presenting partner of the Festival’s Global Connections series, celebrating the international collaborations and cross-cultural exchange at the heart of EFG London Jazz Festival. Delivered in partnership with the world’s most connected airline, this year’s series brings together an outstanding lineup of artists from across the globe, with performances by L’Antidote + Naïssam Jalal & Roberto Negro: Landscapes of Eternity (Cadogan Hall, 14 Nov), Mariza (Royal Festival Hall, 15 Nov), Roberto Fonseca & Vincent Segal (Cadogan Hall, 17 Nov), Fatoumata Diawara (Roundhouse, 18 Nov), and The Joy (Barbican, 22 Nov), reflecting the Festival’s commitment to showcasing exceptional international talent on London’s stages.

Among today’s announcements, sitarist Anoushka Shankar, trumpeter Yazz Ahmed and percussionist Sarathy Korwar are the first special guests confirmed to join pioneering vocalist, actor and producer Asha Puthli for The Cosmic Voyager at the Barbican (14 Nov). Announced last month, the concert celebrates Puthli’s extraordinary career spanning avant-garde jazz, Indian classical music, cosmic disco and electronic music, with the three acclaimed artists joining a specially curated cast of contemporary musicians for this rare UK performance.

At Village Underground, Irish electronic duo Le Boom join forces with multidisciplinary artist AE MAK (15 Nov), while Belfast’s Córas Trio perform at Vortex (19 Nov) who bring a striking contemporary approach to Irish traditional music by deconstructing traditional melodies with electronics and collective improvisation. Both shows are part of a wider strand of Irish music running through this year’s Festival including the previously announced Muireann Bradley - (Stone Nest, 13 Nov) and Robocobra Quartet (ICA, 19 Nov) with more to be revealed in September.

EFG London Jazz Festival will continue late into the night with an after party until 3am at Hackney Wick’s Colour Factory (20 Nov) with Marla Kether, Ri Mistry and powered by sound system collective Shortlist Sound. More names will be announced closer to the event.

EFG London Jazz Festival spans multiple London boroughs, and this year percussionist, composer and producer Sarathy Korwar - who has just been announced for the Asha Puthli show - is performing two sets at Barking Riverside on the opening day (13 Nov). The first set will be solo ahead of being joined by London-based saxophonist, woodwind player and composer Chris Williams for the closing set. The concert offers an early glimpse of the wider Barking Riverside programme, with further details set to be announced in September.

At Kings Place, participants of this year’s Milestones - a professional development programme run by Serious for young and emerging producers - take the lead on producing their own event. Memotone and Shell Company come together for an intimate matinee performance (21 Nov), bringing two distinctive voices from the UK’s ambient music landscape to the Festival. Moving between jazz, drone, psychedelic rock, contemporary classical music and atmospheric electronics, the concert creates a space for close listening and reflection. The event is the culmination of five months of work with Serious by the Milestones cohort, a programme supporting young people building careers across the live music industry, giving participants the opportunity to bring this one-off show to the stage.

A number of previously announced headline shows also welcome newly confirmed opening sets. South African Thanda Choir - who are also performing alongside Melody Gardot at the Royal Albert Hall - join Malian singer, songwriter and guitarist Fatoumata Diawara at the Roundhouse (18 Nov), while Argentine trio and new Verve Records signing TRÍADA support Norwegian-Brazilian singer and composer Charlotte dos Santos at Union Chapel the same evening. Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alex Cornish opens for Morcheeba at Troxy on the Festival’s opening night (13 Nov); Cornish has previously toured and performed with artists including Kathryn Williams, Tom McRae, Alison Moyet and Amy Macdonald. British-Canadian vocalist Rian Peters will open for Lizz Wright with Kenny Banks Sr. at Cadogan Hall (14 Nov).

Together, these new additions join an already expansive 2026 programme featuring major performances from Goldie, Melody Gardot, Mariza, Fatoumata Diawara, Alfredo Rodrigues & Pedrito Martinez, Anouar Brahem, Branford Marsalis & Dianne Reeves, Samara Joy, Ben Folds, Morcheeba, GoGo Penguin and more. Across ten days and venues throughout the capital, EFG London Jazz Festival continues to bring together international icons, boundary-pushing collaborations and the next generation of artists, reflecting the breadth and ambition that has made it one of the world’s leading celebrations of jazz and creative music.
